Opportunity at a Glance

The  Account Manager is responsible for leading sales activity, building and maintaining trust-based relationships with both prospective and current clients within the assigned territory. This role will be responsible for meeting or exceeding metrics and sales targets, performing at a high level and consistently driving revenue by growing existing and new accounts. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our aggressive revenue growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manages sales across assigned territory by generating new B2B business from existing customers and prospective clients.
  • Manages a quota of about 1.7M
  • Works with Sales Director to create and execute strategies to grow revenue in assigned territory.
  • Increases revenue opportunities by attending ACAMS conferences and chapter events.
  • Communicates and tracks sales activities. This position is responsible for meeting sales metrics including a set number of calls per week, as well as product presentations at the client’s site.
  • Understands and anticipates clients' training needs to drive the success of the assigned territory.
  • Proactively develops new sales opportunities for ACAMS Conferences and local seminars to increase attendance and revenue year-over-year.
  • Responsible for the management of marketing campaigns.
  • Tracks progress of sales in Salesforce and actively manages business pipeline.
  • Acts as a liaison between ACAMS’ personnel and new territory leads as product expert.
  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Identifies decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
  • Penetrates territory and generate sales from within client base.
  • Generates product or service interest and leverage ACAMS’s value proposition to close sales.
  • Maintains current knowledge of ACAMS products and services.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and achieve sales quotas
  • Solid experience in the assigned territory
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based programs required
  • Personal goal setting and time management
  • Desire to be part of a rapidly expanding business
