**This role will start as a remote, and but continue as a hybrid or 100% in the office in Miami,FL based on the needs of the business.**

 

Responsible for all financial planning and analysis (FP&A) matters for ACAMS and establishing a best-in-class function. The FP&A function is critical to helping drive the organization and

deliver economic insight into the relationships between costs and revenues to improve the financial success of the business. This is a career defining opportunity to establish a finance function in a fast past environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities and outputs for the organization
  • Foster and develop strong business partnering relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to the business leadership team
  • Interact proactively and collaboratively with executive leadership teams on a regular basis
  • Manage team of 2 individuals to deliver regular reporting, analysis, and insights to the business
  • Design and implement detailed budget and forecast models to drive high quality decision-making and closely monitor business performance
  • Build clear, accurate and reliable predictive forecast modeling for multiple functional areas
  • Owns and overhaul (where necessary) all levels management reporting (i.e., Board, Senior Leadership, Operational)
  • Own EBITDA adjustment tracking and reporting out to Wendel deal team
  • Support external reporting requirements
  • Lead the evolution of the team’s forecasting and reporting capabilities, developing new approaches to critically assess the performance of the business
  • Review financial and operational results, develop insightful suggestions for EBITDA improvements and lead strategic business decisions
  • Continuously review operations for EBITDA improvement opportunities and work cross-functionally to incorporate these initiatives
  • Perform quantitative analysis required for strategic planning, special projects, and reports for management and communicate results to management team 
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Position may be required to travel to and assist other domestic and international sites

 

 

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or an equivalent combination of training and experience are necessary. M.B.A or CPA designation are highly desirable.

Related experience: 

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of professional work experience.    

Reporting Relationship: 

  • Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer

Job Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • High Integrity - you seek open and honest communication, and you hold yourself to very high moral and ethical standards
  • Prior experience managing the FP&A function
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong financial modeling skills, along with understanding of financial reporting and cash flow information
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to balance multiple responsibilities and tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Proficient knowledge of US GAAP
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
  • Strong written and oral communicator, comfortable presenting to executives
  • Exceptionally strong with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
